The Brookfield East Boys Tennis Team finished as the Division 1 State Runner-Up at the State Tournament held in Madison on June 7-8.

The team included Henry Irwin, Owen Kendler, Andrew Knutson and Christopher Knutson for Singles, and Colin Knutson, Nick Fisher; Reed Scullen, Michael Francken; Joey Heuler, Jonathan Knutson for Doubles. This year the program's roster also included Arthur Dickson, Will Elton, Simon Johnstone, and Ben Plichta.

The team advanced from the quarterfinals with a 5-2 win over Neenah, and the semifinals saw the Spartans advance with a 4-3 win over Eau Claire Memorial. In the finals, the boys fought a tough battle against Marquette, ending in a narrow 4-3 loss and finishing the season with a 24-3 record.
