Brookfield East students had four outstanding musical performances at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts for their production of Les Misérables.
The French Revolution-themed musical ran from November 30th through December 3rd and had a cast of over 50 students in multiple roles, more than 40 student crew members, a 22-piece orchestra, and countless staff and parent volunteers.
"Les Misérables was a particularly grand undertaking, in that it is a sung-through musical (like an opera), with music, vocal, and acting demands that are difficult for professionals, let alone high school students," said Director Corey Schneidewent. "I think we'll all look back on this musical experience and see that it was one of the greatest, most rewarding learning and growing experiences of our lives, not to mention one heck of a show!"
Congratulations to the cast, crew, orchestra, and volunteers on the incredible success of the production and performances.
