Brookfield East students had four phenomenal musical performances of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts.

The musical ran from December 5th-8th and included a cast of 53 students, over 60 crew members, an 18-piece orchestra, and numerous staff and parent volunteers. "There is something special about hundreds of people coming together from different places and with unique talents to put on something as fulfilling as live theater," said Director Corey Schneidewent. "It was especially fulfilling to see all of the families and children in the audience to enjoy this fun show, and feel the energy that can only come from a live musical performance.  Once again, the students shined and reminded us why the performing arts are not just a luxury, but a necessary part of human excellence!"

Congratulations to the cast, crew, and volunteers on the success of the production and performances!
