The Brookfield East Class of 2017 will graduate on Sunday, June 11th and their extraordinary accomplishments leave them with much to be proud of and even more to look forward to!
The Brookfield East Class of 2017 will graduate at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 11th in Brookfield East's Fieldhouse. Of the 277 graduating students from the Class of 2017, over 76 students finished their high school career with a grade point average of 4.0 or better, led by Co-Valedictorians Suchir Bhatt & Aditya Jhaveri. "All of Brookfield East thanks our graduates for their commitment to academic and human excellence in our halls and in the Elmbrook community," commented Principal Andy Farley. "We are proud you call Brookfield East home."
Among the individual and team accomplishments of this year's seniors were nine National Merit Finalists, a Herb Kohl Initiative Scholarship recipient, a Presidential Scholar, the musical production of Guys and Dolls, co-creating the first-ever student-run Wisconsin computer programming competition, a state Solo & Ensemble Exemplary Soloist award recipient, a Boys' Tennis singles champion, Associated Press Wisconsin Football Player of the Year, and state team champions in Football and Cheerleading.
Members of the Class of 2017 will attend schools that include Harvard, Duke, Northwestern, UW-Madison, United States Air Force Academy, and numerous others. The class has also earned more than $3 million in scholarships. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the entire Class of 2017!
