Hannah Guth & Hannah Ziesemer Receive WACTE Early Educator Awards

Hannah Guth and Hannah ZeisemerBrookfield East Math Teacher Hannah Guth and Brookfield Elementary First Grade Teacher Hannah Ziesemer have been named this year's recipients of the Wisconsin Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (WACTE)'s Early Career Educator Awards! Guth was awarded by Marquette University and Ziesemer received her award on behalf of Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Guth and Ziesemer were both selected for their positive impacts on their schools and community, innovation in designing learning experiences, and their advocacy for students. Outside of the classroom, Guth is a Freshmen Girls Volleyball Coach and is the chair for the BEHS AVID program, and Ziesemer created Brookfield Elementary's first-ever coding club and was the recipient of the 2019 Engaged in Excellence Award for Excellence in Elementary Teaching.
