Congrats to our Burleigh/PPMS Lego League Challenge teams who participated at the Wisconsin State First LEGO League Championship this weekend!

Around 200 teams from around Wisconsin competed in the regional and sectional competitions in Nov - Dec 2021. (24) teams advanced to the State Championship held at Madison College on Feb 6th. Our very own Elmbrook teams, B.U.I.L.D and Lightning Bolts competed at the State Championship and placed 4th and 5th in the robot game, achieving 460 and 450 robot points!
In addition, the teams also identified and researched a transportation problem, designed an innovative solution for the problem, created a model/prototype of the solution, connected with experts to validate the solution and improve it further. Through creative presentation and storytelling, both teams presented their respective solutions to the judges at the State Championship.
It’s time for a rest from the robots, and a new FLL (First LEGO League) Challenge and FLL Explore season will start in August. Signup information will go out in the Burleigh and Pilgrim Park newsletters in March 2022 (season starts Aug/Sept 2022).
