Why is LAUNCH adding value in today's education?
Look at some of the educational initiatives stressed by our school district and educators nationwide: personalizing and individualizing instruction, proving equity for our students, helping students get ready for college and careers, helping students develop in their master of 21st century skills of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Those are cornerstones of what LAUNCH does for its students everyday.
What is your personal highlight from LAUNCH?
Last year, the first time I sat with a group I had coached and watched them present to a business coach, and saw how knowledgeable, poised, and professional they were, I remember how pleased and proud (and relieved) I felt, seeing them demonstrate that this was working, that LAUNCH could help students do things that I had never been able to do in the regular classroom.
LAUNCH IS... A platform that propels students past the gravitational pull of the normal school experience into an educational space where they can explore new frontiers of professional life - to boldly go where no students have gone before!
