The Friends of the library is hosting its 32nd Annual Used Book Sale March 2,3,4, 2018. We have books for all ages, CDs, DVDs and 700 vinyl albums. Most items are $1 to $2. The BC Jr. Lancer program is looking for additional kids to consider trying out for next year's 4th grade team in the Fall of 2018. The program is committed to developing young athletes that have a desire to play basketball at Brookfield Central High School by introducing the high school system in a competitive environment. Advantage Tennis Camp offers five sessions, beginning June 18, for players of all ages and all levels. Join us for a viewing of Suicide: The Ripple Effect. The film chronicles the story of Kevin Hines, who at age 19 attempted to take his own life. Since then he has been on a mission to use his story to help others stay alive and find recovery.
Indoor practices have begun but it is not too late to join! You can start this Saturday. No prior play experience is required. Outdoor practices and games begin in April. The season is completed by mid-June.
