2022-23 School Year
Stay Home When Sick
Students or staff with symptoms of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, should stay home and get tested. Novir labs will continue to offer free COVID-19 diagnostic and screening tests through a Department of Health Services program at Hillside Elementary with dates and times below.
A student or staff member with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should use the CDC calculator to determine a return to school/work date, notify the Attendance Office/supervisor of their absence, and adhere to the CDC’s recommended actions. For illnesses other than COVID, students/staff should remain home until they are free of fever, diarrhea, and vomiting for 24 hours, without the use of medication.

Free COVID-19 Testing for the Current Students & Staff
Update: As of 8/1/22 the WI DHS only permits free testing for enrolled students and current teachers and staff.
In the effort to keep our community safe the district will allow staff & students to be tested as needed. There will be no appointment required, but please remember that pre-registration is necessary at TRACKbyNOVIR.com. When registering, please make sure that a parent registers themselves first (as the head of household), even if they do not plan to get tested.
