Family Technology Advisory Group

The purpose of the Technology Advisory Group is to provide input and perspective to District staff regarding the appropriate use of instructional technology in the classroom and at home, as well as identify training tools and resources that will best equip families to support that use.

Advisory Group Updates

The Family Technology Advisory Group held its 3rd meeting of the year and discussed the District's presentation to the Teaching and Learning Committee, summarizing the Family Technology Survey results and next steps in response to the survey feedback. The Group was also given an overview of Internet Filters, and asked to provide feedback on Internet Filter priorities as we enter the selection process. 

The District Presentation and Meeting Minutes are attached to this post. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 4 from 6pm - 7:30pm at the Central Administrative Office.
