Dear Dixon Families:

Congratulations to all Dixon students on their wonderful performances at Spring Sing!  A special "thank you" to Mr. Swenson!  You are incredible!!!

Also, "thank you" to the fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Frydach, Mrs. Hetzel, Mrs. Michalski and Mrs. Whiting, and all the parent volunteers for a hugely successful Fifth Grade Recognition Program.  Thank you to Officer Stommes for leading our students through the semester-long D.A.R.E. Program.  THANK YOU most of all to Dixon's Fifth Grade Students.  We wish you the best of luck in the middle school next year!

Summer Technology

There will be several changes to our summer technology options for this summer. If you have any questions please message me.

  • All devices will be collected at the end of the school year with the exception of fifth grade
  • Fifth graders will bring their device with them to middle school in the fall
  • Students who are in summer school will have a device provided in class only if the class requires technology access
  • A staff member may recommend that a student keeps their device in support of reading or math intervention

Report Card Feedback

During the PTO meeting as a part of his report, Principal Luke Sadowski asked for family input on report cards. The linked document is provided for those who wish to provide feedback regarding report cards.  If you'd rather share your comments with Luke through an email or phone, please do so by next Thursday, May 25. Thank you for your engagement.

Lost & Found

Dixon's Lost & Found is overflowing.  Please ask your child to check the Lost & Found and claim anything that belongs to them.  Parents -- feel free to check the Lost & Found yourself.  The last thing you probably want in your home is your child's hat or mittens but it's better than having to purchase brand new ones in the winter!  Unclaimed items will be taken to Goodwill on Monday, June 12.

Dixon's Vision Statement

As a staff we have spent time this Fall developing our Vision Statement -- Love, Inspire, Grow.  We feel these are powerful words that represent the amazing things that happen here at Dixon.  We will continue to find new ways to help your child(ren) feel loved, inspired and keep growing!
