Gallery Night, Empty Bowls, Math, and Literacy Night 2024 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who made the evening so special.

Thank you to Kelly Villalobos and Brittany Muriello, for the countless hours hanging and helping manage volunteers. This event would not have been possible without all of your patience, organization, and dedication to the Dixon Community!

This year Empty Bowls raised a record $7,000 to help people in need at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission! Thank you to Mary Schubert and Erica Wilkinson for everything you did to make Empty Bowls the best year yet. Everyone loved the sweet treats donated by The Elm Grove Chocolate Factory, Pete’s Pops, and Marquette Dining. You two work seamlessly together and are such a valuable part of our school. Thank you to Carey Drees for organizing the convenient ways to donate.

Thank you to the Dixon staff who took time out of their busy schedule to create bowls for the silent auction. The silent auction alone raised close to $1900!

Thank you to Chris Swenson, Julie Johnson, Luke Sadowski, and Marian Pintar for all of the behind-the-scenes help and encouragement. Thank you to Douglas Johnson for allowing us to use his teaching space every year.

Thank you to the countless parents who donated their time for set up and take down before the event and the day of. These special evenings would not be possible without all of you. I am so proud of all of the artists at Dixon, and extremely proud to be part of this wonderful school community.

Much Love,
