Thank you to Dixon students and families.  The Scholastic All For Books fundraiser broke a new record this year!  All together we raised $2,544.13!  Scholastic matches this amount dollar for dollar and donates this to national charities supporting children's literacy.  This money is also added to our total sales for our Book Fair from which Scholastic gives us 50% back in Scholastic Dollars to get books for our classrooms and library.  

This year a total of 33,280 pennies were used by Dixon students to battle for the title of All For Books Champion.  As a thank you for outstanding effort, fourth place through second place classrooms will be rewarded with a Popsicle party.    Coming in fourth place this year is Ms. Holland's classroom with $172.26 donated.  In third place this year is Ms. Traylor's classroom with $310.23 donated.  In second place this year, for the first time in the recorded history of the coin wars, we have a kindergarten classroom as a top contender: Ms. Peschke's  class donated $320.19.  And the All For Books Champion this year is: Repeat champion: Ms. Rodich's classroom.  Ms. Rodich's classroom donated $436.47!
