Seven Dixon Teams Competed at the Regional Destination Imagination Tournament on March 9th

Dixon was well represented again this year with seven teams participating in the regional Destination Imagination Tournament.  Three K-2nd grade teams competed at the Rising Stars level, and four 3-5th grade teams competed at the Challenge level, all showing off their hard work and creative solutions to their selected Destination Imagination challenges.  We are so proud of the hard work done by all of the teams, students learned not only about their challenge topics but also about working together as a team!

Congratulations to The Riddlers, who competed in the Medical Mystery scientific category!  They took first place and will be representing Dixon at the state competition in April!  Team members Mason Braley, Laura Dressler, Melissa Dressler, Hannah Koepsell, Gabriella Kovacic, Nova Subedi and Jake Walrath are shown with team Managers Katie Koepsell and Ana Kovacic in the attached photo.  The Riddlers will once again present their unique challenge solution at the state DI tournament on April 13th in Green Bay - we wish them the best of luck!
