Dear Dixon Families:

We hope everyone is thoroughly enjoying their summer!  Stop in and say "hello" during Wednesday library hours or if you see my or Mrs. Johnson's Jeeps in the parking lot!

Thank you to everyone for making this school year possible!  I am so lucky to be surrounded by amazing teachers, staff, students and families!  Thank you to Sara Monty (PTO President) and all of the PTO for your support this year.  Here is a special message from a Milwaukee Brewer to Dixon Elementary https://v.cameo.com/e/VHX0rsL6Wgb for this last day of school.  I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

Congratulations to our Fifth Graders who celebrated their graduation from Dixon on June 8.  We are all very proud of you!

One last THANK YOU to our Dixon PTO for making staff feel appreciated during such a different type of school year!  The salad and pizza was delicious.

Thank you a millions times over to Connie Petersen, Sara Monty and all the parent volunteers who made this year's Dixon Dragon Day a HUGE success!  It was a beautiful day, and the children had so much fun!

Thank you, Sara Monty, for serving as Dixon's PTO President for the last two years.  Welcome aboard Connie Petersen & Shana Meidam as our incoming PTO Presidents.

Also, a shout out to Mrs. Jacobson and the Dixon staff and volunteers who made this year's Cancer Walk a day to remember.

E-Learning / Kindergarten

The annual Kindergarten Information Night was held (virtually) recently.  We are very excited to welcome our new Kindergartners and 4-K students to Dixon.  If you have neighbors who have children who are Kindergarten (five-years-old by September 1) or 4-K (four-years-old by September 1) who did not receive information about the Information Nights, please have them contact Julie Johnson at Dixon School (262.785.3970).

As always, please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Elmbrook Families with a 4K student beginning this Fall (September 2024)

Thank you for enrolling your child in the Elmbrook Schools!

Once again, the District is pleased to offer 4K families an on-site 4K Wrap Program option provided by the West Suburban YMCA at each of our elementary schools. Morning 4K Wrap Program (for 4K pm students) is offered from 8:50 AM - 12:55 PM and afternoon 4K Wrap Program (for 4K am students) is offered from 11:35 AM - 3:40 PM. If care is needed beyond the YMCA 4K Wrap Program, students can enroll in the Y BASE program which is also located at each of our elementary schools. Registration for both programs is now open and can be found here.

All 4K Families will be notified of their child's am/pm placement during the week of March 18th.
