Fancy Day and Gallery Night

Student Council worked super hard to make Fancy Day and Gallery Night fun and exciting for the whole school! They collected dollars for dress up and sold bling first thing in the morning. The from Kindergarten to 5th grade - students and teachers loved the bling!

All of the students were a huge help for Gallery Night! They helped sell bling, popcorn, water and even shined shoes! I was amazed at how responsible and enthusiastic they all were! Due to their hard work, we earned the money needed to purchase a new orchestra podium in memory of Mrs. Amanda Filkins. We will be dedicating this podium at the spring concert on May 10th.

This group of student council representatives have focused their efforts on helping others, all year long. Raising money to give the kitchen staff a new microwave, sharing holiday cards and caroling at a nursing home, and raising money for the orchestra podium. They continually make the teachers at Dixon proud!
