Empty Bowls 2020 was a HUGE success! Thank you to all of the talented Dixon young artists and teachers for creating such beautiful bowls this year.

A giant thank you goes out to the Empty Bowls committee: Mary Schubert, Jamie Martinez and Becky Oiler. You ladies spent countless hours gathering volunteers, ice cream and topping donations, setting up the event and much more. I am so appreciative of you three.  Also, a big thank you to all of the countless volunteers and teachers that helped set up, helped during the event and at clean up. Dixon School is a huge family. We all work together to make wonderful things happen. I am so proud of our school for making a difference and helping others in need in our community.

If you were unable to make it to Empty Bowls, Mrs. Johnson will have all of the bowls in the office through Friday, February 7.  Please send in your $10 donation to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, and Mrs. Johnson will wrap up the bowl and send it home with your child.  

A donation in the amount of $5,239.12 will be made to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission!!!  WOW!!!
