Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Announces Thank You Thursdays

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) announces the 3rd Annual Thank You Thursdays, in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield, to show appreciation to the District of Elmbrook staff and educators. From now through February 4, 2023, community members, alumni, Elmbrook staff, parents, and students have the opportunity to say “thank you” through a nomination form to those Elmbrook staff members or educators who have made a difference in their life and the life of their child.

Danielle Leitner Baxter, Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Board Member and Staff Appreciation Chair said, "The Thank You Thursdays campaign is an honor for the EEF to execute in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield. Our Elmbrook staff is second to none and we are thrilled to provide an easy and meaningful way for families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to show their appreciation. The nominations demonstrate what we already know- Elmbrook staff make a difference through their kindness, passion and going the extra mile each day. We are grateful to have such a committed team working with our kids!”

After the nominations are closed on February 4th, each Thursday from February 9th through the March 9th, ten nominees will be randomly selected and awarded a $25 gift card to The Corners of Brookfield.  The staff member with the most thank you notes will receive a $250 shopping spree to the Corners of Brookfield.  In early March, as an additional thank you, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will deliver pizza and salad to over 1400 staff members. Winners will be announced via Elmbrook Education Foundation social media channels and also on the Bluemound and I-94 billboards at the Corners of Brookfield.  Follow EEF at:

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Elmbrook School District high school graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,500,000 in scholarships and $500,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the District's budget.
