Brookfield Central freshman Azrael Synold recently performed at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City, singing alongside professional Broadway performers in a special concert presentation of Jane Eyre in Concert this February.
Synold, who trains locally with Mosaic Creative Studios, earned the opportunity through a competitive audition process organized through the studio. The performance was presented by Manhattan Concert Productions and featured well-known Broadway artists including Erika Henningsen and Ramin Karimloo. Selected students joined the ensemble to perform on one of the world’s most renowned stages, collaborating directly with professional performers.
For Synold, the experience of performing at Lincoln Center represented a milestone in their artistic journey. Appearing on the iconic stage alongside Broadway professionals required preparation, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate within a large-scale production environment.
The achievement also highlights the partnership between school communities and local arts organizations in supporting students’ creative development. Through Mosaic Creative Studios and the support of their educators, Synold was able to pursue an opportunity that allowed them to represent both their studio and Brookfield Central on an international stage.
