On Thursday, January 16th, 21 students from the five elementary schools, Pilgrim Park, and Wisconsin Hills participated in the District Spelling Bee.

After 22 rounds, the top district speller was: Keshav Karun, a 7th grader from Wisconsin Hills Middle School.

Other top spots went to the following students:

  • 6th grader Krishna Karody from Wisconsin Hills Middle School
  • 4th grader Phoebe Gast from Dixon Elementary
  • 5th grader Charlie Livingston from from Brookfield Elementary
  • 5th grader Harini Gokulakrishnan from Burleigh Elementary
  • 3rd grader Adhrith Nareshkumar from Swanson Elementary

All six students move on to the regional bee at CESA 1 in February.
