The 2022 US Speed Skating Short Track Fall World Cup Team Trials will be held in Salt Lake City later this September, and three Elmbrook student-athletes have qualified to compete in it! Brookfield Central's Aidan Liu and Aaron Liu, alongside Brookfield East's Andrea Cao will participate in this event - making Elmbrook the only school district with multiple speed skaters that qualified.

This is the highest competition in the United States and the trials serve as a qualifying event for the International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup Team selection, where 5 male and 5 female US speed skaters will be selected to represent Team USA. The ISU World Cups are the highest level of competition at the international level.
