The School District of Elmbrook "Significantly Exceeds Expectations," according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) who released district and school report cards this week. The District's rating score of 89 is the third highest of 4K-12th grade districts in the state with a student population of over 2,500, based on 2024-25 school year data. Additionally, all of the District's schools received classification of "significantly exceeds" expectations, the highest rating. This is the first time since school report cards were issued that all nine schools achieved the highest report card rating. Brookfield Elementary ranked the top 4K-5 school in the state with a score of 98.1.

The district and school report cards are intended to create a more standardized methodology for parents and community members to determine the effectiveness of their local districts and schools.

The report cards include outcomes for each school in four priority areas: Student Achievement, Student Growth,Target Group Outcomes, and On-Track to Graduation. Based on a combined score in each of these four areas, scores and ratings are determined for every publicly funded school and district in Wisconsin, as well as many private schools participating in the Private School Choice Program.

"This data tells a powerful story of our students' growth and achievement, which is a direct result of our educators' dedication to supporting the success of every child," said Emily Greiber, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning. “We are proud of all of our schools for their remarkable results this year!”
