Brookfield East High School is proud to announce that students from its theater program have been recognized with honors in the 2026 Jerry Awards. This annual statewide program celebrates excellence in high school musical theater, with over 500 awards presented to students from more than 100 productions across Wisconsin.

The Jerry Awards is the largest program of its kind in Wisconsin, encouraging, recognizing and honoring excellence in high school musical theater. The program began during the 2009-10 school year in Madison and has since expanded statewide. Educators and industry professionals reviewed productions from schools across Wisconsin, providing valuable feedback while elevating the importance of musical theater within high schools.

The 2026 Jerry Awards program will culminate in a live Awards Show on June 7 at Overture Center in Madison to honor student and school achievements, including appearances by Outstanding Award recipients.

This year, Brookfield East’s production of Pippin earned multiple honors, recognizing the talent and dedication of the cast and crew.
