Leia Rios, a student at Brookfield East High School, was crowned Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2026 on May 30, 2026, making history as the first Latina ever to win the Miss Wisconsin Teen USA title. She will represent Wisconsin this August in Miami, Florida, where she will compete for the national title against delegates from all 50 states.

Rios brings an exceptional record of leadership, service, and advocacy to the national stage. She has completed more than 4,000 hours of community service and currently serves as Executive Director of Generations Against Bullying. She is also the founder of Journey2Confidence-I, an initiative dedicated to promoting self-worth, confidence, and inclusion among young people.

Her commitment to making a positive impact began at an early age. In 2021, Rios became the youngest recipient of the Inspiring Youth Award through the Positively Milwaukee Awards, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the community.

As a proud Hispanic youth advocate, Rios is passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She aspires to become an immigration attorney and is dedicated to empowering young people to embrace their identities, pursue their dreams, and lead with purpose.

By becoming the first Latina to earn the Miss Wisconsin Teen USA crown, Rios hopes to inspire young people—especially those from underrepresented communities—to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.

“I hope to inspire others to believe in themselves, celebrate what makes them unique, and use their voices to create positive change,” said Rios.

Founded in 1983, Miss Teen USA is one of the nation's premier pageant programs for young women ages 14–19. The competition provides participants with opportunities to develop leadership skills, build confidence, engage in community service, and serve as ambassadors for their states. State titleholders from across the country compete annually for the national Miss Teen USA title. Congratulations, Leia!
