Students from across Elmbrook received recognition from the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) State Honors Music Project this month. WSMA’s program is nationally recognized as one of the finest opportunities for young musicians. Middle School and High School Students from across the state audition for acceptance in band, orchestra, or choir. Students selected for the WSMA State Honors Music Project participate in an intensive four day summer camp in June and perform in Madison during late October as part of the Wisconsin State Music Conference. The following Elmbrook students participated in the 2023 Honors Ensembles:

 Additionally, Wisconsin Hills students Kiley Keup, Maadhav Karun, and Alex Hahn have been selected for the 2023 Wisconsin Concert Band Association All-State Junior Band! They were selected from junior high and middle school students throughout Wisconsin, based on their band director’s recommendation. This All-State Junior Band is a unique opportunity afforded to all Wisconsin Concert Band Association members.
