On March 12, 2022, nearly seven hundred and fifty Elmbrook music students participated in more than five hundred events at the Wisconsin School Music Association's Solo and Ensemble Festival, held at Pilgrim Park Middle School. From the district festival, one hundred and thirty one music events qualified to participate in State Solo and Ensemble on April 30th.
The Exemplary Performance Recognition Project expands recognition of outstanding performers at the WSMA State Solo & Ensemble Festival. State festival adjudicators select the most exceptional performances at each of the festival campuses through a two step process. Throughout the festival day, adjudicators nominate events for the award. At the end of the festival day, the adjudicator selects up to two (2) award recipients from the nominated events in their festival site.
We are very proud to share that Elmbrook Music had 15 exemplary nominations and 8 award recipients!
