Music students from across Elmbrook participated in the Wisconsin School Music Association’s (WSMA) State Honors Project this semester, which culminated in a performance at the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference in October! Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding work and performances with the Honors Project: Eleanor Dobson, (Brookfield East Choir), Alex Hahn (Brookfield Central Band), Aamna Mateen and Addi Brennan (Brookfield Central Choir), Bennet Hahn (WHMS Band), Lanting Shi and Iris Thorson (WHMS Orchestra), Luke Field (Brookfield Central Orchestra), Aamna Mateen (Brookfield Central Choir), and Raahil Mateen (WHMS Choir).

In addition to the students, Elmbrook music teachers are giving back to the profession by serving on Wisconsin State music committees and projects. Kudos to Sarah Marman (Wisconsin Hills), who served on WSMA's Festival Music Selection Committee; Alexis Ganos (Pilgrim Park / Wisconsin Hills), who served as a the viola section coach for the WSMA's Middle Level Honors Orchestra, and Terry Little (District Music Coordinator), who has been named as the Disability and Accessibility Chair of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association Council!

Congratulations to all students and staff for your excellent work in the arts! You can view the concert recordings here.
