Elmbrook was recently awarded two grants in support of our new, board-approved Robotics and Power Systems space at Brookfield East. These grants include a $25,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and a $14,542 grant from the Wisconsin FastForward program.

The classroom and lab space was approved by the Board of Education at its regular meeting on December 13, 2022. The facility will allow for additional room for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) curriculum to take place during the school day, and will provide the robotics teams with a dedicated practice space as they prepare for competitions at the state and world levels.

The new space at BEHS is set to open Fall 2023.
