Elmbrook Schools has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation. Elmbrook is one of only 975 Districts from across the country to receive this year’s award, which serves as a testament to the exceptional music education opportunities and dedicated staff in our schools.

This award is in its 25th year and annually honors districts and schools for their outstanding music education programming and access to educational opportunities for all students.

"This award showcases our commitment to fostering a rich musical cultural within our schools," said Dr. Mark Hansen, Superintendent. "Music education plays a pivotal role in nurturing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, and are grateful to NAMM for honoring the amazing work of our educators."

This is Elmbrook’s fifth year of receiving this distinction from NAMM. The NAMM Foundation, a nonprofit organization, aims to promote active participation in music-making across all age groups through scientific research, philanthropic initiatives, and public service programs.
