Elmbrook students Ashriya Rajesh (Brookfield Central ‘25) and Ceci Cornell (Brookfield East ‘25) have been named to the Distinguished Young Women (DYW) Class of 2025! Rajesh was named Distinguished Young Woman of Brookfield 2025, Cornell was named Distinguished Young Woman of Elm Grove 2025. Both students were awarded college scholarships for their academic achievements and will be participating for a chance at additional scholarships as part of the Wisconsin State Finals this summer.

Since 1958, DYW has been a program that encourages participants to reach their full individual potential with a mission of empowering young women by providing over $1 billion in scholarship opportunities, developing their self-confidence, and participating in Life Skills Workshops that prepare them for success after high school.

The Wisconsin State Finals will be held on Saturday, August 3, with students competing for a chance to advance to the National Finals and acquire some of the total $100,000 in cash scholarships. Congratulations and good luck to Ashriya and Ceci!
