Dan Scott, Elmbrook’s Director of Technology, will be inducted into the national Consortium for School Networking (CoSN)’s Volunteer Hall of Fame as a member of the 2025 class. This honor is in recognition of his “outstanding contributions” to the Washington D.C.-based organization, which is the premier professional association for leaders in K-12 Education Technology representing over 13 million students.
Dan serves as the Treasurer of the Wisconsin Chapter and leads a cohort of IT Directors in pursuing their Certified Educational Technology Leader Certification. In this role, he actively promotes technology opportunities at state-wide conferences, engaging district leadership and decision-makers. Additionally, Dan plays a key role in securing private sector sponsorships and advocating for increased technology resources in schools.
Scott expressed his gratitude for CoSN's advocacy and support in advancing technology services for students. "I'm truly honored by this recognition and grateful for the opportunities CoSN has provided," he said. "It's been incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact on students through my work with the organization."
CoSN promotes partnerships and awareness of emerging technologies amongst technology decision-makers in K-12 education. Dan will be inducted on April 1, 2025 in Seattle at CoSN’s Annual Conference. Congratulations, Dan!
