Heather Sibley is a School Psychologist at Pilgrim Park Middle School where she works with students to ensure they are supported academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally so that school is a safe and supportive environment for all students. “My favorite part of my job is the students and families that I get to work with everyday,” stated Sibley. “Students inspire me, humble me, and I have enduring hope for the future.”

In addition to being the School Psychologist, Heather is one of the facilitators of PPMS’s HOPE Squad which focuses on prioritizing student mental health, and Best Buddies which is a one-to-one friendship and leadership development program between students with and without disabilities. “To see the depth and compassion of Pilgrim Park students is a truly amazing experience,” reflected Heather. “Success is defined by how well we treat the community of people around us, especially those who are most in need.”

Outside of school, Heather is the proud wife and mom to two children, and loves how they make her laugh and help shape her perspective on life. She is also an amateur cellphone photographer and would love to have lunch with Taylor Swift someday because of her admiration for her and the bragging rights she’d have among middle schoolers.
