John Broenen is Elmbrook’s Food Service Production Coordinator, stationed out of Wisconsin Hills. John orders, organizes and coordinates food deliveries and kitchen supplies for four elementary schools and an area parochial school. Broenen started with Elmbrook in 2000 and has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of students through work. John loves the team he works with and seeing the students when they come through the lunch lines.

“Over the course of my tenure, our team has shipped out over 5 million meals to the students of Elmbrook,” reflected John. “I’m very proud of all the important things our team has done on behalf of kids over the years.”

Outside of work, John loves art and musky fishing, and can’t live without some tasty gummy bears. He is inspired by his mom’s ability to fully enjoy life and his dad’s work ethic, and loves to learn more about his family’s history whenever given the opportunity.
