Officer Steven Weber is the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Pilgrim Park Middle School. Through his work, he provides PPMS with an extra sense of security throughout the school day and builds positive relationships between students and law enforcement. His favorite part of his job is the people - from the amazing staff to the talented students he gets to work with each day. Officer Weber began as Pilgrim Park Middle School’s SRO in January 2023.

“My goal is to be a role model for the students and it is really rewarding when I am able to build those relationships and see how I’ve impacted their lives,” reflected Weber. “I constantly feel honored and humbled to have been given the opportunity to serve as an SRO.” Steve is most inspired by his wife and their three children, who have incredible kindness and an ability to see the best in others and the world around them.

He defines success as positive outcomes from his engagement with students, staff, and citizens each day. Prior to law enforcement, Steve was a manager at Kopp’s Frozen Custard where he earned the nickname “Quiz” for knowing every ingredient in every custard flavor. He still enjoys a ½ gallon of Tiramisu custard with his family whenever it comes up on the menu.
