Terri Zeer is a 4K Teaching Assistant at Tonawanda Elementary School! In her role, she helps ensure the academic growth and success of the students within the classroom as she builds positive relationships with them and cultivates a fun and welcoming environment. “I love watching each student grow and learn,” stated Terri. “I enjoy having the privilege of being a part of their educational journey!” Her favorite part of her job is the smiles and hugs that she gets from students on a daily basis.

Zeer’s inspiration in all that she does is her mother, who inspired her to “cultivate joy” wherever she goes and to never be afraid to be her true self. “I believe success is when you value your role in society and share memories that will last forever,” she reflected. She is proud to be able to inspire so many students through her work and humbled by the feedback she receives from her students over the years. 

Outside of the classroom, Terri and her husband sing a lot and even sang together at their own wedding! She loves retail therapy and would love to sit down and chat with Billy Joel whose music has been a big part of her life.
