The School District of Elmbrook’s Board of Education confirmed the Administration’s recommendation of Lindsay Charles as Associate Principal of Brookfield Central High School at its regular board meeting on Tuesday, August 8.
“Brookfield Central is thrilled to welcome Lindsay Charles,” said Brookfield Central Principal, Brett Gruetzmacher. “She comes to Elmbrook with a variety of educational and leadership experiences, deep commitment to students and families, and adept instructional coaching and development of teachers.”
“I am honored to have been selected as the Brookfield Central Associate Principal, and am excited to serve the BC community this school year,” reflected Charles.
Before coming to Elmbrook, Lindsay taught Special Education for nine years in the LaCrosse, West Bend, and Grafton School Districts. While in Grafton, she also worked as an alternative education teacher and served on the district’s Response To Intervention (RTI) and Math curriculum teams. Ms. Charles earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Education from UW-LaCrosse and a certificate in School Administration from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota.
Lindsay Charles replaces Carolyn Hahn and will begin as Central’s Associate Principal immediately.
