To provide the community with a clear understanding of how the proposed referendum investment was developed, we are sharing a summary of the estimated project costs. These estimates reflect the anticipated scope of work at each school and the factors used to calculate projected expenses.

Project cost estimates are developed using the square footage of each space and the type and scope of renovation being considered. Estimates also account for anticipated construction cost inflation and include contingency funds to help address unexpected conditions or changes that may arise during design and construction.

Because the projects are still in the planning stage, these figures are current estimates rather than final numbers. As designs are developed and more detailed information becomes available, costs will continue to be refined. Per our standard practice, all construction work will be competitive-bid, securing the best market pricing and establishing the final project costs.
