Each year, the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS) recognizes educators and support staff across the state who have demonstrated exemplary service to students, families, staff, and school communities. WCASS is the professional organization for special education and student services leaders in Wisconsin, dedicated to supporting inclusive practices and student success.

This year, Elmbrook Schools is proud to celebrate several outstanding staff members who were nominated and recognized for their dedication to students and inclusive education practices:

  • Kelly Szesterniak, Inclusive Educator/Administrator (Pilgrim Principal and Best Buddies Advisor)
  • Ali Yenter, Special Education Teacher (Swanson)
  • Deb Krueger, Special Education Teaching Assistant (Tonawanda)
  • Murphy Lance, Special Education Related Services Professional (Occupational Therapist; Burleigh, Pilgrim, and Wisconsin Hills)
