Elmbrook’s 2019 Innovation Summit (iSummit) on inclusive practices took place in Brookfield East’s Fieldhouse from July 30 to August 1. The annual event was attended by over 500 educators from school districts across the state and included nationally-recognized experts presenting on topics in special education, inclusion, and mental health. Learning space designer and furniture manufacturer Norva Nivel provided sample furniture and designs for participants to evaluate during the Summit.

“It’s incredible to see the life-changing impact of inclusive education in our state,” said Dr. Tanya Fredrich, Director of Student Services. “We heard from so many great speakers, including amazing success stories of graduates from Elmbrook’s Project STRIVE program and the School District of New Berlin.”
