Fifty-six new educators participated in a three-day orientation this week in preparation for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. “Our Principals and our Human Resources Team have done an amazing job at recruiting the best talent from across the region,” said Superintendent Mark Hansen. “The onboarding and orientation process is second to none and is the right mix of inspiration, relationship building, and workforce preparedness."
The Class of 2021 was welcomed by District and school administrators, teaching colleagues, and board members, with several learning and community-building opportunities throughout the experience. One of the highlights was a GoRiteway bus tour of the District that visited several of our schools and included a stop at Brookfield’s City Hall to meet Mayor Steve Ponto. This class of educators cannot wait to become what’s next as they prepare to welcome over 7,700 students to school on September 1!
