Optum Financial, Elmbrook Schools' HSA and FSA vendor, is launching enhancements to their online and mobile experiences. These enhancements will lead to an improved, user-friendly account portal and mobile app with new features like text and email alerts and online Customer Service chat. The enhancements will also include HealthSafe ID which will use two-factor authentication and industry-leading technology to keep accounts safe and secure. As of February 11th, a new username and password will need to be created.

In order for these enhancements to take place, current online accounts will be read-only access from February 2nd through February 10th. During this time, balances can be viewed but no activities, such as transactions and reimbursement requests, will be able to be completed. Current payment cards will be inactivated as of February 2nd and a new card will be issued and received by February 11th. For those that invest their HSA money, investment balances and transaction history can be viewed during this time but transactions cannot be completed.

On February 11th, accounts can be accessed via the new website (optumfinancial.com) and access to the MyCDH account will no longer be valid. Also starting February 11th, claims can be submitted via the new portal or mobile app using the same process as before. For those with HSA investments, assets will transfer-in-kind to the new platform, ensuring investments are not out of the market. Any transactions can start on February 11th.
