Direct orthopaedic care, fast, high-quality at a low cost to you. Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin provides immediate access to high-quality orthopedic care with Board-certified orthopedic specialists, short appointment wait times, on-site imaging, MRI's, PT and surgery center. All comprehensive care under one roof. OAW are Tier 2 providers and facilities however, the negotiated contract amounts that Elmbrook Schools have negotiated are lower than Tier 1 providers for Orthopedic services ONLY. This does not apply towards other Tier 2 providers outside of ortho.

How it works:
- Schedule: Book at any OAW location
- Identify: Tell us you are an Elmbrook School District employee or family member of an employee and on the health plan
- Verify: Present your employee UMR insurance card at time of visit
- Receive care: See a specialist
OrthoASAP Walk-in-care:
When injuries happen, you don't need to wait for an appointment or visit the ER. OrthoASAP provides immediate access to orthopedic specialists who treat bone, join and sports injuries quickly and efficiently.
- Walk in, no appointment needed
- Open 7 days a week
- On-site-X-ray imaging
- Care provided directly by orthopedic specialists
- No orthopedic follow-up required after urgent care or ER visit
- $30 copay for Elmbrook School District employees (regardless of deductible met)
OAW member copay costs are independent of health plan deductible met and/or out-of-pocket maximum accumulators being met. All surgeries and surgery facilities will run through the UMR health insurance plan as Tier 2. If you need to have your surgery at Prohealth due to other medical conditions this surgery will be done at a Tier 2 facility. You will be subject to Tier 2 deductible amount, OOP max amount and lower coinsurance. You will find that the Tier 2 cost of surgery at the OAW surgery center is more affordable than surgery at a Tier 1 provider as OAW does not charge facility fees and other added fees. This is only for OAW and not for any other Tier 2 providers.
