Brookfield East High School is proud to announce that ten members of the senior class have earned the distinction of National Merit Semifinalist and one commended student for the 2018-19 school year.

This year's semifinalists for Brookfield East are Namitha Alexander, Jordan Bartosiak, Jacob Franz, Guilherme Galhardo, Billy Huang, Michelle Li, Taidgh McManus, Amber Rothe, Nikhita Santebennur, and Anouska Siva. Anna Dresang was named National Merit Commended.

Recognition for this great achievement is based on how well each student performed on the PSAT exam taken during their junior year. Semifinalist scores rank them among the top of all test takers in Wisconsin, as well as the United States. This places each Semifinalist in the top 16,000 of over 1.6 million students that took the test last year.

Brookfield East is proud of their National Merit Semifinalists. These students are outstanding ambassadors for the school mission of relentlessly pursuing "Academic and Human Excellence." Congratulations!
