BEHS Violinist Julian Rhee Performs on NPR's From The Top

Brookfield East senior Julian Rhee performed and was interviewed on a recent episode of From the Top, a hit National Public Radio's program featuring America's best young classical musicians and hosted by acclaimed pianist Christopher O'Riley.

Julian performed Subito by Witold Lutosławski with O'Riley and Norwegian Ballage with guest ensemble Time For Three. Julian studies violin at the Music Institute of Chicago with Almita Vamos, is the winner of the 2018 National YoungArts Foundation, and serves as BEHS Class President.

The broadcast features performances and interviews with outstanding young musicians and was recorded before a live audience at New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall in Boston on October 1, 2017. The episode is now available to stream on From The Top's website.
