Central student runs the ballOn November 16, the Brookfield Central Lancers traveled to Camp Randall in Madison for the Division 2 state football championship.

The Lancers fought with spirit, scoring two touchdowns early in a powerful game that ended in a 51-14 loss to Homestead.

"Reaching the state level for two years in a row has been an amazing achievement for this team," said Head Coach Jed Kennedy. "I love this team of kids and I am unbelievably proud of what they accomplished this season."

The team finished with a 13-1 season record and its second consecutive journey to the championship game. Congratulations to all of the players, as well as Coach Kennedy and his entire football staff on another incredible season.
