Brookfield Central students had four incredible musical performances at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts for their production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The musical ran from November 15th through the 17th and included a cast of 45 students, 17 student crew members, a 23-piece orchestra, and countless staff and parent volunteers. “The process of putting together a production of this scale can be rather daunting - the material was very profound and poignant and far from ‘toe-tapper’,” said Director Tommy Lueck. “The great success of this show was one of the most pleasantly surprising accomplishments of the theatre program in all of my 30 years of directing students. It takes dedicated students and many parents and other seasoned theatre technicians in order to make that all happen in basically three days and I am incredibly thankful.”
All through the production process, the program provided students with hands-on learning experiences and support from professionals at the Skylight Music Theatre, the Waukesha Civic Theatre, and the Sunset Playhouse.
Congratulations to the cast, crew, and volunteers on the success of the production and performances!
