Spartan logoFor the first time ever, Brookfield East High School is being honored as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's School of the Year! This honor is based on a point system determined by high finishes in the WIAA tournament series. BEHS led with 18 total points, claiming the title over Muskego with a total of 16 points. In 2019-20, the Spartans won state championships in football and girls swimming and diving, finished 2nd in boys soccer, and had several other state qualifiers in volleyball, tennis, wrestling, cross country, and a point adjustment for the basketball season that came to an early end.

"We are so proud of all of our student-athletes and coaches whose work is recognized in this award," said Ben Westphal, Associate Principal for Athletics and Activities. "This honor serves as a tribute to the academic and human excellence that our students display each day at Brookfield East."
