Carolyn HahnThe School District of Elmbrook’s Board of Education confirmed the Administration’s recommendation of Carolyn Hahn as Associate Principal of Brookfield Central High School at its regular board meeting on Tuesday, April 30.

“Brookfield Central is excited to welcome Carolyn Hahn,” said Brookfield Central Principal, Brett Gruetzmacher. “Carolyn comes to Elmbrook with a variety of educational leadership experience from across the country, is skilled instructional development and monitoring, and is grounded in a deep commitment to students and families.”

“I am honored to have been selected as the Brookfield Central Associate Principal, and am eager to serve the families, students, and staff of the BC community in the coming school year,” said Hahn.

Before coming to Elmbrook, Carolyn taught Special Education for schools in Waukesha and Seattle, WA, and served as Dean of Students and Assistant Principal in both Seattle and most recently Nathan Hale High School in West Allis. Hahn earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2011), and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University (2017).

Carolyn Hahn replaces Matt Schroeder, who will transition to his role as Principal of Wisconsin Hills Middle School. Hahn will begin as Central’s Associate Principal in July, 2019.
