The Brookfield East Class of 2018 will graduate at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 10th in the Brookfield East Fieldhouse. Of the 330 graduating students from the Class of 2018, 100 students finished their high school career with a grade point average of 4.0 or better, led by Valedictorian Julian Rhee. "Brookfield East congratulates all of our graduates and thanks them for their commitment to academic and human excellence throughout their time in Elmbrook," said Principal Andy Farley. "We are proud of all that they have accomplished at East and in the Elmbrook community and look forward to seeing their bright futures take root."
Among the individual and team accomplishments of this year's seniors were 3 National Merit Finalists, a Herb Kohl Initiative Excellence Scholarship recipient, a Presidential Scholar, the Jerry Award-winning (formerly known as the Tommy Awards) musical production of Les Miserables, state runners-up in basketball, a Scholastic Art & Writing Gold Key winner, Robotics award-winners, and NCWIT honorees in computing.
Members of the Class of 2018 will attend schools that include Harvard, Arizona State University, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Seattle University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and UW-Madison. The class has also earned more than $5.5 million in scholarships. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the entire Class of 2018!
