The Brookfield East Class of 2019 will graduate at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 9th in the Brookfield East Fieldhouse. Of the 313 graduating students from the Class of 2019, 104 students finished their high school career with a grade point average of 4.0 or better, led by Valedictorian Namitha Alexander. “The Brookfield East community congratulates all of our incredible graduates and thanks them for their continuous commitment to academic and human excellence,” said Principal Andy Farley. “We are so proud of everything that you’ve achieved during your time at East, and look forward to watching you become what’s next.”
Among the individual and team accomplishments of this year's seniors were a Presidential Scholar, 11 National Merit Finalists, a Herb Kohl Initiative Excellence Scholarship recipient, a musical production of Hello, Dolly!, Robotics national award winners, a diving state champion, Scholastic Art & Writing Gold Key winners, a drama production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and more.
Members of the Class of 2019 will attend schools that include Stanford, Arizona State University, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Waukesha County Technical College, Columbia University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and UW-Madison.
